Privacy Policy

We keep this simple: we only collect what's needed to run the site, and we don't sell your data or hand it off to advertisers for tracking purposes.

Signing in

We use Discord for sign-in, so we never see or store your Discord password. When you log in, we save your Discord ID, username, avatar, and the email tied to your account. That's enough to show your profile and comments on the site.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you logged in and remember things like your theme and content preferences. Nothing tracking-heavy, just what's needed for the site to work the way you left it.

Traffic and location

We collect general location info (city/country, based on your connection) and overall traffic stats to understand how the site's being used. We also use Google Analytics for supplementary stats, including a hashed ID and events like ad views/clicks. Here's Google's privacy policy if you want the details. None of this is sold or shared for marketing.

Ads

We track ad views and clicks, but these aren't linked to your account or any identifying info, just anonymous counts.

Comments, favorites, and likes

Comments are public, since that's the point. Favorites, likes, and your view history are private. Only you and site admins can see them.

Reports

If you report something, it's tied to your account so mods can follow up if they need more info. Only mods/admins can see reports.

Suggesting edits

If you suggest tag/character edits or submit extra pages for a comic, that's linked to your account too, mainly so we can credit you and review it properly.

How long we keep things

Audit logs (records of mod/admin actions) are automatically cleared 90 days after creation. Ad-click data has no identifying info attached, so we just keep it around for general stats.

Deleting your account

Want your account and data gone? Send us a report through the site and we'll take care of it manually.

Terms of Use

By using AL2 Comics, you're confirming:

  1. You're at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live, if that's higher).
  2. You're legally allowed to view adult content in your location.
  3. You'll access the site like a normal human, not via bots or scrapers.
  4. You won't use AL2 Comics for anything illegal.

We're not responsible for what's on external sites linked from here.

Moderation

Mods handle uploads, comic/artist info, and most user feedback (edit suggestions, page submissions). Admins handle account actions, ads, and escalated reports.

Your account

You're responsible for what happens on it. Depending on what's going on, we might mute, shadowban, suspend, or ban an account for breaking these terms, spammy/bad-faith submissions, or misusing site features. A shadowban just limits how visible your comments are to others; a ban locks the account. We don't have a formal appeals process right now. If something feels off, reach out and we'll take a look.

Artwork and takedowns

We don't claim ownership over any artwork on the site. Everything's sourced from publicly available posts, and we credit artists wherever we can. If you're the artist and want something taken down, submit a takedown request and we'll handle it.

Paid content

If you have upload access, don't post anything meant to be paywalled or exclusive elsewhere. Everything here should be freely available.
